Welcome (or Welcome back)

For those of you who are not recent additions to my life, you will recall that I previously composed a blog entitled, Contagious Insanity. After several years, I made the decision to delete my blog and move on. Since we are finally making progress in our adoption journey, I decided to follow in the footsteps of many prospective adoptive parents (or PAPs as my parent training refers to us) by writing this blog. The blog will serve as a communiqué for friends and family members who are far away, but would like to remain in the loop. The blog can also act as a wonderful storybook for our future daughter. We will never be able to tell her the story of the day she was born, but we will always be able to remember how hard we worked, how far we travelled, and how long we waited for her to join our family.
