The home study is here! The home study is here!

In case you missed that.... THE HOME STUDY IS HERE!
I have it in my hands as we speak. Okay, not literally, because that would make it difficult to type. But its right here, beside my laptop. Granted, there are two mistakes. The Home Study Worker aged my younger brother by 10 years. She also noted that we have two working vehicles, but then listed five cars that we owned in November. At the time, and currently, all cars were running and reliable. Yes, we had five cars. We now have four. Craig has a thing for old cars. Not classic cars. Old cars with the average resale value of about $350. But not the point, I think a home study that says we have five cars, but only two are running screams, "WHITE TRASH!" I will admit that I enjoy a good Mountain Dew at the end of a long day and Craig did watch NASCAR until about four years ago, but I would never want to be classified as white trash. No offense to my white trash friends. You know who you are and you know I love you, no matter what color or type of refuse (or lack there of) you may be. I know I'm overthinking it. People in Ethiopia don't exactly know what white trash is or the fact that you "might be a redneck" if you have more nonworking than working vehicles at your home (I want to add that all cars were parked in the driveway, garage, or on the street. Never in the yard. Never on blocks. And never with a tree growing through the hood). Anyway, I want our homestudy to be accurate, so I will have to call someone to see how we can correct it (considering that the Home Study Worker no longer works for the agency).
Next stop....Immigration! It seems simple when compared to the "fun" that was the home study.
