When we were planning to adopt from Ethiopia, we were told that we needed several photos of us dressed in "nice clothing." We weren't happy with the photos that were taken in our home and were told by another agency that indoor studio shots look like you're trying too hard. We found Tera Leigh through an awesome Wimgo deal. We can't say enough good things about her. I had no specific ideas about the shoot and did not give her much input. I only informed her of the purpose of the photos. She suggested the Oklahoma City Zoo, which I sounded like a perfect idea. She found several good places to shoot and never lost her enthusiasm, despite the cool and drizzly day.
We're no longer pursuing an Ethiopia adoption and we recently discovered that China has different requirements. They don't just want pictures of us in "nice clothing." They want several pictures of us engaged in various activities. Oh well. We tried. We still love our pictures. I think we look like very loving parents. Here's a few of them (which are copyrighted by Tera Leigh, so don't copy them). If you like them and want to order some, let me know.
